Why do we work?
- What is my contribution?
- What is close to my heart?
These are the questions we should ask ourselves if we want our work to be meaningful. These are the questions about what contribution we want to make with our actions. We all have our own unique and incomparable experiences that have made us who we are today. Our past is therefore the basis for our present and lays the foundation for our future.
Our work reflects our potential and values visible
To prevent us from getting bogged down, our values serve as guidelines for our decisions. Our values are what is important to us in life, what motivates us, what serves as a guide for our behavior and on the basis of which we then evaluate our actions. They describe what is valuable to us. They give us orientation. They help us to decide whether we should do something or not.
In this way, we can also live values such as helpfulness, loyalty, generosity or respect through our work and not just limit ourselves to seeking recognition and financial security through our work. In this way, we also make our values visible to other people, as our approach to them will change.
