Actively shaping change

When change seems impossible

Sometimes we feel overwhelmed by what lies ahead. Or perhaps we want to change something in our lives, but tackling this change seems too difficult.
 
In these moments, it’s best to focus. On the next step that lies ahead of us. On the next day. On the next 24 hours. On what we want to achieve. And on how we want to feel or treat our fellow human beings.
 
If we are able to focus on living the change just on this one day, it is a big step. If we have created this day and continue to do so, we create a good life step by step. We continue the change one moment at a time. Day after day.

We do our best for the present Moment

Even if there comes a day when we fall short of our own expectations, we can be sure that a new day awaits us tomorrow – and with that new day, a new opportunity. This means that guilt, regret and self-pity no longer have a place, because we can do better the next day. Pursuing our goals from one day to the next takes the pressure off us that we have to do something right straight away. Instead, we know that there is always an opportunity to start again.

So we do our best for the present moment, our best for this one day.
 
In doing so, we make it a successful one. With our focus on what lies directly ahead of us, our fears and worries will subside. As a result, we will change a little day by day. And our decisions will change with us. And our decisions will change the life we lead.
